Amelia Barry, an IT security consultant from London continues her short holiday break at her godmother’s place in Leah by the Sea. Life is supposed to go at a slow, if not lazy, pace there. (Un)fortunately, it’s anything but.
Just as Amelia and Martha finish getting the old bookshop ready for reopening, a man appears with a proposal for business collaboration. New business is something Martha’s shop really needs, but… she rejects the offer, as it looks too good to be true to her.
Strangely enough, the following morning, Amelia, Martha and Mrs Webb find the body of the sleazy man.
It seems that he died of natural causes, alone, on his boat. But did he?
