Metaphors and Murder (The Poetic Death)

By Diana Killian

Welcome to Innisdale! A charming little village in the beautiful and romantic English Lake District. We’re famous for our quaint shops, our colorful characters, and oh yes, our murders.

High Rhymes & Misdemeanors – American school teacher Grace Hollister is vacationing in the English Lake District when she stumbles across a body. Before long she’s involved in kidnapping, murder, and the hunt for a lost work by Lord Byron.

Verse of the Vampyre – No sooner does Grace becomes a kind of technical advisor to a local theatrical production of a play called The Vampyre, then mysterious accidents begin to plague the players.

Sonnet of the Sphinx – Peter’s past comes back to haunt him. Meanwhile Grace is on the hunt for a lost sonnet by Romantic poet Percy Shelley and the solution to a dashing World War II soldier’s disappearance…

Docketful of Poesy – Grace is hired as a script doctor for a straight-to-cable film production of her own academic exploits, but history when repeats itself, it’s curtains for one of the cast.
