A frozen corpse. A missing medallion. Who was willing to kill over a small-town festival medallion hunt?
Shady Lake is hosting their annual Below Zero Festival and this year, the medallion hunt has a $500 cash prize along with it. Tessa isn’t sure she will enter, especially because every year the medallion is found by Gerald Pinkerton. Everyone knows he cheats, but no one can ever prove it.
But Gerald winds up dead at the bottom of the sled hill and the festival medallion is missing from where it was hidden. When an acquaintance of Tessa is accused, Tessa is determined to clear his name. It would be a lot easier if she hadn’t been talked into helping with the snow sculpture contest. As a blizzard rolls in, Tessa is desperate to solve the murder.
Will Tessa find the killer? Or will she end up frozen stiff like Gerald Pinkerton?
