Banking on Murder (Miami Slice Cozy Mysteries Book 5)
By Patti Benning
When something seems too good to be true…
It could be murder.
After a perfect day spent strolling through a botanical garden and then enjoying an open-air concert with Antonio, Cassandra McNeil is pretty sure her life couldn’t possibly get any better.
Happiness is fleeting, however, and Monday brings with it news of a murder. A man who works at the same bank as Antonio – and whom they met at the concert over the weekend – was found dead later that same day.
The murder feels personal, so Cassie and Antonio decide to take matters into their own hands and examine a list of suspects that seems too long to ever narrow down.
When someone contacts them, claiming to know who the killer is, Cassie isn’t sure if they are lucky, or very, very unlucky.
Can she solve the crime before something unthinkable happens?
