Baseline Betrayal: A Green Acres Cozy Mystery
By Nina Hunt
“Full Court Conspiracy”
The scout knew something—and now he’s dead. At Green Acres High, a basketball dynasty is built on secrets, and when the team scout is found murdered, star player Eli finds himself trapped between his code and his conscience. A gifted hacker, Eli discovers files that could unravel the truth—but someone’s already planted evidence to frame him. Mia, his mother and a dogged journalist, isn’t about to watch her son fall. Together with her nosy (literally) Yorkie Toby, Mia races to expose the real killer. Baseline Betrayal plays with the “corrupt sports system,” “tech-savvy teen framed,” and “mother-dog investigator duo” tropes, delivering a slam dunk of suspense and betrayal.
