Eggnog and Alibis: A Small Town Christmas in July Cozy Mystery Series (Christmas in July Cozy Mystery Series (Volume 2))
By Maisy Marple
Where Holiday Cheer Meets Cold-Blooded Murder…
In the charming town of Snowberry Ridge, the annual Christmas in July Eggnog Festival is the highlight of summer—until food inspector Percy Dratch is found dead in Hollyvale Creamery’s walk-in cooler. When all evidence points to dairy owner Hazel Granger, she must clear her name before another victim falls.
With her teenage son Thatcher by her side, Hazel dives into an investigation that uncovers small-town secrets, corporate sabotage, and a decades-long rivalry turned deadly. As the festival continues around them, suspects multiply faster than holiday lights: the rival dairy owner with a vendetta, the smooth-talking agricultural consultant with hidden motives, and the handyman who seems to be everywhere at the wrong time.
When a second poisoning strikes at the heart of the festival, Hazel realizes she’s not just fighting for her family’s legacy—she’s racing against time to prevent another murder. Blending warm humor with small-town charm, “Eggnog and Alibis” serves up a perfectly chilled mystery that proves sometimes the most dangerous secrets come in the most festive packages.
