We were only a few days into Galaxy Sector and while gambling wasn’t something I was interested in doing, I was eager to get off the Lady Elizabeth for a short while. The longer I spent on the luxury spaceship the more I appreciated our occasional planetary excursions.
Considering how my life has been going since I left Cenclare, I shouldn’t have been surprised when a case of mistaken identity got me dragged into an incredibly high-stakes game of poker. And I should have been even less shocked when one of the other players was murdered in the middle of the game.
