Holly and Holidays, Another Murder (A Sheridan Hendley Mystery Book 4)
By Christa Nardi
Everyone’s dancin’ and prancin’ at the Pets & Paws Holiday Gala … until chaos breaks out.
The crisp winter air filled with excitement as dog lovers gathered at the first annual Pets & Paws Holiday Gala. The ballroom of the country club was transformed into a winter wonderland, adorned with twinkling lights, shimmering ornaments, music, and an array of delicious food. Despite some mysterious messages, the evening was a perfect opportunity to support the local dog rescue and indulge in some holiday cheer.
The joyous event took a grim turn when people started falling over, screaming, and clutching their stomachs in agony. The tempting spread had been tampered with and the festivities ended by an intentional act of poisoning – Food poisoning used to mask a murder. Sheridan agrees to help Rachel, the victim’s daughter find the killer. As Sheridan and Rachel investigate the prominent accountant’s records, a possible motive emerges and the game is on – with a happy ending for all, except the killer.
Holly and Holidays, Another Murder is a cozy novella that combines the joy of the holiday season with a captivating murder mystery. Join Sheridan and her companions as they navigate the unexpected twists and turns of the investigation, all while spreading holiday cheer and savoring the warmth of friendship. Biscotti recipe included.
