In Willow Hollow, baking is as magical as it is delicious, but when famous mystic relationship guru ends up dead with one of Harper Dade’s creations, the town’s enchantment takes a strange turn. The macaron was supposed to reveal romantic truths. Not end a life. Now, Harper has to uncover what went wrong.
With her magic having a mind of its own and her sidekick, a cat with a knack for sarcasm and song parodies, Harper is knee-deep in a batter of suspects. From a candy-making sorcerer with a grudge to a rival medium with secrets, everyone is a possible culprit. Thankfully, she has Crank, the town’s wizard mechanic, whose knack for fixing things extends beyond engines.
As the mystery unfolds, Harper realizes the killer is closer than she thinks. She must find the truth hidden in this confection of lies before another life is claimed and her own future is baked to a crisp.
