Mis-Steak-N Identity (Iron and Flame Cozy Mysteries Book 5)
By Patti Benning
When you’re looking for balance…
An unexpected visit can be murder.
Restauranteur and amateur sleuth, Lydia Thackery, is somehow managing to run her restaurant with her ex-husband at her side, and things are going mostly well, though the arrangement has its drawbacks. But the arrival of a stranger with a story that hits way too close to home throws a wrench into the works.
Either the stranger is telling tall tales, or Lydia is about to learn something about her family’s past that she may not want to know.
Things take an even odder turn when the new visitor confesses that she’s been accused of murder. Not knowing if she should even become involved, Lydia weighs whether or not to start digging into the stranger’s case, and eventually can’t help herself. Curiosity wins out, as usual.
Will uncovering the truth mean that she learns something about herself? And will justice be served, even if it means a traumatic revelation for Lydia?
Find out in this deliciously twisty, turny Culinary Cozy Mystery!
