Mystery of the Citrus Grove: A Katie Drew Mystery
By Paula Porter
A twelve-year-old girl. A dangerous truck. A family property worth far more than anyone realizes.
When Katie Drew witnesses a truck deliberately swerve toward a young girl on a bridge, she knows it wasn’t an accident. Katie rescues twelve-year-old Emily Parker, but the frightened girl isn’t talking.
Then Katie learns Emily and her grandmother are struggling to hold onto their family citrus grove. Buyers have disappeared, sales have mysteriously dried up, and suspicious property documents suggest someone may be trying to force the family off their land.
With Daisy at her side, Katie starts asking questions.
A hidden box reveals that Emily’s father had his own suspicions before his death. A questionable notarized document raises even more questions. And the deeper Katie digs, the clearer it becomes that someone has been working behind the scenes for a long time.
Now Katie must uncover the truth before the Parker family loses everything.
But someone doesn’t want that truth discovered.
And they’ll do whatever it takes to keep Katie from finding it.
