Since Ohio is amateur sleuth Tulia Blake’s next adventurous destination and her parents are only hours away, she invites them to join her on the journey. As fate would have it, one evening when they stop for gas, a woman who looks similar to Tulia’s assistant, Olivia, is murdered while they’re at the gas station.
The obvious assumption is that it was a random crime, and they were merely at the wrong place at the wrong time. They continue on their journey, but as more unfortunate incidents continue to plague them, Tulia begins to suspect that Olivia has a sinister stalker.
