Silvermoon Retirement Village Cozy Mysteries 4-5 (Silvermoon Retirement Village Cozy Mystery)

By Rodney Strong

The Silvermoon Retirement Village is a quiet, refined refuge from the world. Nestled in the hills above Wellington, New Zealand its residents look forward to living out their days in peace and tranquillity.

Unfortunately for the rest of them 98-year-old Alice Atkinson lives there. And quiet, peaceful, and tranquil are three words that most definitely do not apply to her.

She’s had an eventful life and picked up some useful skills. Now she has to dust off those skills because it turns out that Silvermoon isn’t as quiet and peaceful as the brochure suggests.

Alice is back in books 4 and 5 of the Silvermoon Retirement Village series of cozy mysteries. In Antiques and Assault a newcomer to the village reminds Alice of a case when her granddaughter Amanda was younger. As she delves back into decades old memories, an assault in the present day makes the residents nervous, and Alice soon comes to realise that the two cases, so many years apart, might just be linked.

In Diamonds and Drowning, an outing on the Wellington harbour turns deadly, and Alice is forced to face the fact that her past has finally caught up with her.
