“Warm summer days, 4th of July, fireworks that go off with a bang, these are a few of my favorite things,” I sang to myself as I scooped ice cream, taking liberty with the lyrics of a popular Christmas song. It was summer in Lilac Bay, and that means the holiday of all summer holidays was here. And so was a new murder. Sigh.
Summer is in full swing in Lilac Bay, and Maddie and her bestie, Chloe, are enjoying everything the season has to offer. But when they find out a murder has been committed, they’re on the hunt for a killer. Will they find the murderer before they strike again?
