The Trouble With Tippitiwitchet: A Carolina Crimes Standalone Paranormal Cozy Mystery (Carolina Crimes Cozy Mysteries)
By R. A. Muth
There’s nothing like tripping over a corpse to kick off the weekend.
I’m Myrna Bog, owner of Bog’s Books. When I opened a bookstore in my hometown of Loris, South Carolina, I expected long days, loyal customers, and more books than I could ever read. What I didn’t expect was Tippy, a carnivorous houseplant with a fondness for BBQ meatballs and a habit of repeating gossip.
On my way to help with the town festival, I literally stumble over a dead body. The victim is a recent arrival to Loris who seemed friendly enough, but it doesn’t take long for me to discover she was keeping secrets—including why she stole a rare book on poisonous plants from my bookstore.
Now I’m forced to work alongside the town sheriff, the same man who broke my heart years ago. Meanwhile, Tippy’s cryptic clues point us toward hidden family ties, old grudges, and enough small-town secrets to fill an entire library. With a killer still on the loose, we’ll have to uncover the truth before someone else ends up dead.
Because in Loris, South Carolina, everybody has a secret, and somebody is willing to kill to keep theirs from being revealed.
