On the night of the museum’s most important fundraising event, Annie and Hugo finally meet the mysterious man who lives in the tower. Just as they hoped, he offers them a way to bring Jake and Fee in on the secrets of the museum. The four of them can make a pact, but they need a very special chalice in order to make it, and Annie and Hugo have until midnight to track it down.
The chalice, though, has more than one use, and Annie isn’t the only one who wants it. Someone else is on a quest to find it too, and they’re leaving quite the trail of bodies in their wake.
Trapped in the museum with family and friends in danger, Annie and Hugo must race against time. But with a snarky cat, a sleepy dormouse, and a whole host of friends to help, they might just manage the task.
